Milan withdraw from the Super League after the exit of the English big six

The European Super League did not last long, shocking fans around the world and especially putting the club owners under pressure. Within hours, the competition was dismantled.

Although the situation is unfortunate, as the project should never have started in this way, it was really fun to follow last night’s news. When England’s “big six” decided to drop out, everything fell apart.

It was therefore only a matter of time before anything was heard from Milan. Second David Ornstein of Athletic, the Rossoneri have decided to withdraw from the competition and the other Italian teams are likely to follow.

He will give some comfort to the fans ahead of Milan’s match against Sassuolo tonight, and certainly also to the players. The match is scheduled for 18:30 CEST and Stefano Pioli’s team will seek yet another victory at San Siro.
