MN: Milan’s position on the Super League fiasco emerges

Milan have not yet formally retired from the Super League project and the club’s position has been outlined.

MilanNews they signal that Milan have nothing to add to what has just been declared by the Vice President of the Super League, Andrea Agnelli. When asked if the project can still be realized after the exits, Agnelli replied (via Sky Sports News): “To be frank and honest no, obviously it isn’t.

The report adds that Milan have been invited to participate in a project that could not exclude the Rossoneri for prestige and tradition. This project has effectively closed, and Milan will therefore continue, as always, to focus on the league and work to grow the club.

It is unclear whether this implies that we can expect an official statement to confirm the club’s withdrawal from Super League competition – as Inter did today.
