Milan have recovered after what was a difficult start for 2021, after a 2020 with excellent results. I’m not entirely off the hook yet, but Franck Kessie is one of the players who came forward due to the injury crisis.
The midfielder was exceptional in the midweek clash against Man Utd, completely dominating the midfield from start to finish. Milan eventually managed to pull off an important draw, as Simon Kjaer scored the draw in injury time.
Kessie had a splendid controversial goal canceled in the first half, so things could have been better for the Rossoneri. According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Ivorian has attracted the interest not only of the Premier League, but also of Real Madrid.
The part of the Bernabeu, in fact, has already initiated contacts with Kessie’s agent to understand the contractual situation. Milan, however, are confident of being able to reach an agreement on the renewal, ready to offer the necessary salary increase.
